DOMENICO CANDELLORIPercussionist and musicotherapist, plays instrument from Afro-Cuban, Middle east, North Africa and Italian tradition. Since years, he has been involved in studying, teaching and researching on ethnic music and music-therapy. He has been living in Bologna since 2004, where he teaches frame drums at the Taranta Power School, founded by Eugenio Bennato and Maristella Martella, and at Ivan Illich folk music school. As a session player, he took part in important ethnic music festivals and world music in Europe, North Africa and USA.In the last few years, he has deepened his studies with teachers such as Glen Velez, David Kuckhermann, Alfio Antico, Murat Coskun, Behnam Samani, Lory Cottler, Michael Metzler, Alioune M’Baye.
